6 Tips for Steam Solenoid Valve Maintenance
Steam solenoid valve mainly works in high temperature environment. The automatic control system can control the opening and closing of steam solenoid valve according to the change of temperature and pressure. Steam solenoid valve is widely used in heating equipment, industrial furnaces, chemical equipment, HVAC equipment, shipbuilding industry and other industries.
Steam solenoid valve can work in high temperature environment, which shows that the steam solenoid valve has super high protection performance. In addition, the steam solenoid valve is simple in structure, fast in action, small in power, light in shape, and also relatively wear-resistant, heat-resistant, condensation-resistant. Compared with other types of actuators such as control valves, steam solenoid valves are easy to install and maintain. However, attention should be paid when installing and maintaining the steam solenoid valve in daily use, so as to maintain the normal operation and prolong the service life of the equipment. Here are some tips for steam solenoid valve maintenance.
Steam Solenoid Valve Maintenance
1. Please periodically wash pollutants within and outside the high-temperature steam solenoid valve as well as of the pull-on surface. Do not damage the sealing surface.
2. After installation of the high-temperature steam solenoid valve, pump in the experimental movements of the medium. After it is confirmed to be normal, it can be put into use.
3. After a long period of use, the poor sealing between the piston and the valve seat, for example, might rub down the piston sealing surface again to grind with the valve seat.
4. The high-temperature steam solenoid valve, if left unused for a long time, should have the manually-operated valve turn off. If started again, the steam solenoid valve should clean away the condensed water, and try the movements several times. When it is normally started, it can be put into use.
5. When the steam solenoid valve should be disassembled for sealing and storage, first use the compressed air to clean away the stains within and outside the valve parts so as to keep the storage environment clean, tidy and dry.
6. When the steam solenoid valve is working, pay attention to the pressure gauge before and after the valve. The working pressure should not exceed the rated pressure, and the working pressure must be within the scope of the rated pressure differential. When the working pressure exceeds the rated pressure or the working pressure differential exceeds the rated pressure differential, the solenoid valve should stop, and the front and back manually-operated valves should be turned off to avoid explosion and leakage of the solenoid valve.
