How to Disassemble a Water Solenoid Valve?

With flat diaphragm structure, water solenoid valves has reliable opening and closing, long service life, stable performance, convenient use and strong reliability. It is suitable for long-term use in water or in the areas with water as working medium.

Sometimes, the water solenoid valve will fail, and we need to disassemble it to check where the problem it. How to disassemble a water solenoid valve? The procedures is as belows.

1. Close the front and rear gate valves of the main valve of the water solenoid valve.

2. Loosen the pipe joint screw on the main valve cover to release the pressure inside the water solenoid valve.

3. Remove all the screws of the water solenoid valve, including the nuts of the copper tubes in the control pipeline.

4. Remove the bonnet and take out the spring.

5. Remove the shaft core, diaphragm, piston, etc. Do not damage the diaphragm.

6. After removing the above items, check whether the diaphragm and O-ring are damaged or not. If there is no damage, please stop disassembling the internal parts.

7. If the diaphragm or O-ring is found to be damaged, please loosen the nut on the shaft core and disassemble the diaphragm or O-ring one by one carefully, and replace the new diaphragm or O-ring.

8. Carefully check whether there is damage in the main valve seat and shaft core. If there is other debris inside the main valve of the water solenoid valve, it should be cleaned out.

9. Assemble the replaced parts and components into the main valve in reverse order. Please note that the water solenoid valve can not be blocked.
