Solenoid Valve for Air Conditioning
The solenoid valve is a kind of valve to automatically switch on/off that relies on electromagnetic force. In the refrigerating and air-conditioning equipment, the solenoid valve is commonly used as a remote control globe valve, regulating mechanism of two-position adjustment system or safety protection equipment. The solenoid valve can be applied to various gases, liquid refrigerants, lubricating oils and other media.
For some early small and medium-sized units, the solenoid valve is connected in series with the liquid pipe in front of the throttling device and is connected to the compressor with the same start switch. This is normally closed solenoid valve. When the compressor is turned on, the solenoid valve is also opened to connect the system pipeline to make the air conditioning system running normally. When the compressor is turned off, the solenoid valve automatically cuts off the liquid pipe, stopping the refrigerant liquid from flowing to the evaporator, so as to preventing the refrigerant from striking when the compressor starts again.
In the central air conditioning (multi online) system, solenoid valves are more widely used, including pilot-operated solenoid valves for controlling four ways, compressor discharge return lines, cooling circuits, etc.
The central air-conditioning solenoid valve is a key component for regulating the cooling and heating of central air conditioner. We know that the solenoid valve consists of a solenoid coil and a magnetic core. When the central air conditioner starts up, the solenoid coil generates electromagnetic force to make the solenoid valve open, and then the refrigerant began to play a role. After the set temperature is reached, the power on the solenoid valve coil is off and the electromagnetic force also disappears, then the refrigerant circulation is turned off. In this way, the solenoid valve plays a role in adjusting the temperature.
