Steam Solenoid Valve in Dry Steam Humidifier
The dry steam humidifier is a kind of humidifier and its material is
made of stainless steel. With a mesh steam-water separator, it can be
used for secondary evaporation, so that water and steam can be
completely separated. The dry steam humidifier is divided into manual
regulation control type; solenoid valve control type and electric
actuator control proportional type.
The figure below is a solenoid valve type dry steam humidifier. The humidifier is equipped with a high temperature steam solenoid valve on the nozzle. According to the external switching signal, the power supply for the solenoid valve coil is switched on and off, and then control on-off of the humidifier. The solenoid valve can be used together with manual and electric actuating humidifiers to realize the automatic shutdown function of the humidifier at power off.
General purpose steam solenoid valve parameters:
Power supply voltage: DC 24V / AC 220
Power consumption: <60W
Medium Temperature: - 5℃ ~ 180 ℃
Sealing medium: EPDM
Valve body material: brass
Port Size: G1/2", G3/4", G1", G1¼", G1½", G2"

When the steam source is connected, the saturated steam enters the humidifier from the steam inlet, and the steam flows axially in the steam sleeve rod. The central spray rod is heated by the latent heat of the steam to ensure that the pure dry steam is ejected from the central spray rod, that is, the steam without condensate. After saturated steam enters the casing, it enters the steam-water separation chamber. The separation chamber is equipped with a baffle plate, which makes the steam rotate and flow vertically upward after entering the separation chamber, thus separating the steam and condensate water efficiently. The separated condensate water is discharged from the bottom of the separation chamber through a trap. When humidification is needed, the solenoid valve is turned on, and the dry steam enters the central spray rod and sprays out from the nozzle with silencing device to humidify the air.
